Every serious cattery has an origin story. Ours began not with trophies or pedigrees, but with a simple, profound desire for genuine companionship.
I am Ple — Anchalee — founder of TigerCoonCat.
My first cat, Dollar, was a Maine Coon and Persian mix: never a show cat, never bred for titles. She was raised with complete devotion as a member of our family.
Today, at 12 years old, Dollar remains healthy and active — a living proof of what attentive, love-driven care truly means. A cat thriving in old age is the most honest measure of a cattery's integrity.
My first purebred Maine Coon, Harley, opened a completely new world. The breed's signature qualities — extraordinary gentleness, social intelligence, playful affection — were immediately striking.
When Harley's first litter arrived, every kitten was sought by families who fell instantly in love. The cattery was not yet planned. The kittens made it inevitable.
TigerCoonCat Cattery — A Deliberate Choice
Rather than scale, we chose depth. TigerCoonCat was established as a small, closed home cattery in Nonthaburi — no cages, no facility environment. Every cat lives as a family member.
We imported breeding cats carrying European and Russian champion bloodlines, each individually DNA-tested for hereditary conditions including HCM and PK deficiency. The standard was never negotiable.
At TigerCoonCat, health documentation is not a formality. It is the foundation of every placement we make — whether to a family in Bangkok, an expat relocating across Asia, or an international breeder building their programme.
• DNA Health Testing — HCM & PK Deficiency All breeding cats tested. Results available upon request. No exceptions.
• Minimum 16-Week Rehoming Age Full immune maturity, socialisation, and temperament development before placement. • Complete Vaccination Protocol Age-appropriate vaccinations completed and documented at time of rehoming.
• ISO Microchip & International Documentation Standard microchipping. Pedigree registration available for breeding placements.
• Veterinary Health Certificate Full pre-placement health examination by licensed veterinarian.e

The WCF recognition in 2025 was gratifying. Dollar at 12 years old, still running to greet us every morning — that is the real answer.
